New York Film Academy!

Hello! I really should have been updating the past 3 weeks, since I was working on 2 projects at the New York Film Academy! I really should have kept a journal of what I was doing, but, I guess I was just too busy!

I walked away with 2 films: Masterpiece and Doll. Unfortunately, the raw footage for Masterpiece came back incredibly over exposed due to a problem with my 1st AC not knowing how to use a light meter...but Doll came out well!

Doll is viewable on my YouTube page (youtube.com/loneislandfilms), and will be available for viewing on my website (AlexandraJensen.com) soon.

They were both shot on 16mm film using an Arriflex 16s camera, which was an incredible experience. I learned so much! Working with actual film is just...magical. The light physically effects the film strip to create an image...how cool is that??? I think we take those things for granted, especially with the advent of digital and all.

Masterpiece is a film about a blind man who becomes a painter.
Doll is a film about a young man who just moved to the city, only to find that his next door neighbor is a creepy doll.
