"Where the Trees and Stars Are" Music Video Premiere!
Finally, Louisville native Andrea Davidson's Where the Trees and Stars Are music video is online! I was intimately involved in the project from it's inception to it's completion. I helped with storyboarding, camera work, and did most of the final edit. Check out Andrea's Website for more information and to view the video there. Or, you can check it out below!

"The Pangaea Bloodline" Re-Mix and Fall Projects
Greetings! I'm currently in the process of re-mixing my 5 minute short film, The Pangaea Bloodline! It's exciting to hear the sounds and score as I originally imagined they would sound. With the help of Tyler Gunderson, I'm finally becoming pleased with the film! We're adding a few new sound effects, beefing up some empty areas, and cleaning up some old ones that I overlooked the first time.
I'm also working on a project for my directing class this fall. It's called World Line. More on this later.

Louisville Fly Over Film Festival - Lunacy Film Camp Kickoff
Hey all! I'm deep in the editing process for some material that I shot and acted in last August, in 2010, but can certainly take a break to share this link!
The material I'm working on will be kicking off the Fly Over Film Festival! We premiere the first day of the festival, June 9th. We are screening with films amongst films such as Another Earth (2011) and The Lie (2011).

End of Semester
Hey all!
So, the semester is coming to a close. Just have to print out my final paper, turn it in, and I'm free! Robert Panico completed his film "Superhuman" written by Maury Shessel recently, which I did cinematography for. It's about a supervillain detainee being asked to turn superhero. Below you will find some stills!

Also coming up this Saturday the 7th, is the screening of The Snow Queen! I'm excited. I'm going to wear a pretty dress.

Music Video Madness
Happy (Belated) Easter!
I've been working full throttle on editing a number of music videos these past few weeks. Below you will find some stills from "DLZ" by TV on the Radio. Katie Walker, the brains behind the project, also did the outstanding cinematography. It's easy to edit a music video when you're given such great material to work with! It's a narrative piece about a mad scientist who is searching for the perfect "love formula"...but something goes terribly wrong and he has to go back to the drawing board.

Spring Update
Hey all!
It's been a while, eh? I find it difficult to update when I'm very involved in a project. Today we wrapped The Snow Queen, the advanced USC graduate student film that I was the 1st Assistant Director for. It's been a long journey, and picture lock is in a week's time --- so we'll be able to see the fruit of our labors by then. Check out some production stills:
I'm very proud of the work we've done! As attached as I am to The Snow Queen, it's time to embark on some other projects!
I've agreed to edit a music video: "DLZ" by TV on the Radio. The music video involves a mad scientist looking for "the cure for the heart". What am I most excited about (besides the whole mad scientist angle) you ask? There will be some extreme high speed photography of beakers breaking! Awesome. Some close friends are involved in the filming of the project, so I know it's going to be great. Stay tuned for more updates.
I'm also in the process of writing up a series of treatments for some potential projects to shoot this summer. Among them (working titles):
The Second Coming
Mystery Date
Ben Franklin vs. Zeus
A Boy and His Bolson
Cher
Slimy
World Line
Depending on how the treatments are received, I will likely be directing one or more of them this summer. Once again, stay tuned for more updates!
I also just completed the edit and sound design for In Transition, a short zombie film about two sisters for Maury Shessel's directing course. It sounds great (if I do say so myself), but it also looks great! Check out the stills:
Additionally, I did the cinematography for a short film by Robert Panico, about a detective father and his daughter. Check it out:
